The Commission's annual budget is $5,584,000.

As a result of the Legislature's commitment in 2007 to insure adequate resources for the Commission to fulfill its constitutional mandate, the Commission was authorized to have 55 full-time employees (FTEs). Due to budget constraints since then, the Commission's Administrator has had to reduce the number of authorized FTEs to 50, but at present is only able to fill 45.
